End Of Summer

Well it's been a long holiday for me and i'm back at school next week.
It's quite fast how time flies just like that.
There's nothing much to say though.
One of my random drawings. I'm gonna call it, "I am the knight"

blurry capture of a drawing of a harbour out of my head, im gonna call it
"orange seas"
Have a pleasant week end!

Silent Wood

I came across a silent wood
Who stared at me in a grim mood
Past the greens and crows of old
A silent wood, a frown it throws
Muted with stillness and words unheard
A silent wood that fails to care
Thumps of rain nudged its toes
A silent wood that fails to boast
When things are mad and chaos around
A silent wood that makes no sound
Below its eyes, a teardrop hides
A silent wood that sighs on sides
Empty space on that same day
A silent wood that fails to say
The only thing that can't be done,
The silent wood whose secrets spun

it's been a hot day and i bought the legendary book called "Les Miserables" by Victor Hugo.
The french version so I can practice reading, going to be hard, I need a buddy dictionary on me whenever I read it!
actually I was aiming to buy a horror book today, I saw some cool zombie titles on the bookstores but I'll save up for that ones next time.
Saw some new amazing references of digital paintings and I just can't help to ask why? how? did they do that, it looks really awesome.
Right school is around the curve, a few more days and there it begins.

Farewell Carousel

Farewell carousel, a water dried from a well
My heart is left, and has not to tell
farewell carousel, the roundabout I turned and swelled
Lights in my eyes, and gems on hem
farewell carousel, It's time to go, I hear the bell

Farewell carousel, I wrote a letter from a cell
Golden rods that gleamed in spell
farewell carousel, A hope that's gone forever
Cried on stone, a smile, fair-weather
farewell carousel, I'm leaving now, steeper

Farewell carousel, words that left my mouth unheard
Whispered in lisps, of smokes dispersed
farewell carousel, I'm gone with broken wings of fur
Empty heart whose beats won't cure
farewell carousel, it's over, it's over it's over

Shinning light

Along the coasts where a lighthouse stood
Shine your light on me here
in the midst of the sea

To and fro I swayed in chill
The soft waves against my chest
Shine your light on me

Over time I freeze and shivered
A drowning pen on ink unhindered
Blotches of me unseen in black
I faded to black

I closed my eyes in an eerie way
A dream that cringes, i'm turning grey
Sleeping moon within the beaches of clouds
Hear me now! I shout aloud
Wake me up with no sound

Time is gone, the leaves are burnt
Summer's morning, stories learnt
Heat on my face, hot as the sun
I stood softly on solid ground
I found the sun

nearly school day

2 more weeks till school days! Well approximately, and i can't wait to be back on the chair and do some homeworks.
It's been quite a long holiday though and it's kind of exciting to face another year of college.
Like we ask questions like what's gonna happen next or what's in store of tomorrow

I find myself learning more of guitar and try to improve on my playing so I can write more songs and get new ideas from different genres.
It's quite interesting though to know new chords and scales going to blues and jazz.

I've been listening to The Beatles lately, they influenced me a lot in their musicality, they made rock and roll music on its height in 1960s. They have alot of albums, most songs I get to know firsthand were Day Tripper, Eleanor Rigby, Hey Jude and Yesterday. I know of the band before but then I just listen on the surface of the music but then now I realized how wonderful and creative their music is like you need to enjoy the song and music.

The Beatles: Paul , George, John and Ringgo

Youth Reason To Be: The recent concert was amazing like a lot of people attended and it's so cool to see them all jumping with the lights and singing along with the songs! Well I can't take pictures though cause I'm playing but anyway here's a video, when we performed "Only Hope" originally sang by Mandy Moore but we tried Switchfoot's version with more acoustic feel on it!
Only Hope: sang by Kat and me on guitar

Then our Wyldfire band, we played for the second set of the concert, twas tiring but we're all stoked with fun in making music!

Lastly to wrap up the post well I created something in the middle of the night, I forgot the day, in Photoshop inspired by just my random drawing on a whiteboard during rehearsals.
It's not that crafty cause I was half asleep making it just passing the time. Well, here are some pictures

Alright here's the initial idea of it, on the top left is the whiteboard drawing

Sailing in the shadows

It's not much work but then I just wanted the drawing to breathe in reality and somehow on the slightest I kind of made it happen.

Anyway, that's all everyone. Till the next time I post again, maybe every school day, and I haven't got a camera yet though. Here's a quote that may inspire you guys and reflect on :)

"All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make, the better"

Youth: The Reason to Be Concert

Hey everyone! It's been awhile again, well I usually say them words in introduction which is pretty getting vague now of its excessive usage, anyway!
I've been busy with concert practices and enjoying the holidays as school is getting near!
Speaking of concert we will have one in church this coming June 30!
It's called Youth: The Reason To Be, it's a night of singin and jumping and dancing and I'm really honored to have written the last song of the concert "The Reason to Be".

Come and join us here!

Take Care Everyone!

starry starry night

when things seem to fall all over the place, whence gravity never took place

Today was really quite a gloomy day,  rain fell and came but I appreciate its company all the same, something like a grey mood that grips on us, something new. 5th floor has been like our home in Animation, it's like we'll be there for all the time, animating and modelling. It has been quite a refreshment to be back in the basement again even for just a few moments. It's having a sudden exposure to an old memory lane, with all the white lights from above and the cold echoes of people talking here and there and everywhere.

There's something weird that twists silence, I don't know, we might find ourselves okay but really there must be a reason to feel quite static and down or something that we don't even know who holds it and why.

So far we've been working on for our 2D whiteboard animation and finally we've finished it! but there will be few more touch ups on adobe premier for final productions and renderings. here are some pictures on the process where I drew Van Gogh and his Starry Starry Night on whiteboard and markers. I started out with a rough pencil sketch, and there's a sequin on his eye here. (:

a peek on our work while animating his eyes

My impression of Starry Starry Night on markers - kevin loredo

So that was there about it, animating frame by frame really isn't a joke, you need to really have a massive supply of patience and smile (: ( not to mention a reasonable amount of tolerance) to visualize ideas, agree and disagree and nerves to keep the project going!

Anyway in life, We all like surprises right? Tomorrow is so unpredictable, we might be sad today and yesterday but why not hope for a beautiful morning the next day? I'm sure there are meanings behind what we all feel, what we do just be passionate. If you find yourself dumbfounded today, then rise up again the next day, i mean that's how it goes doesn't it. We might be scarred or gloomy in the inside but surely there shall be an assigned day that we'll all be satisfied and happy on what will happen.

As for now, maybe for this quiet time, i will just grab my guitar and sing through the night, loud in clear in this starry starry night.
see you all soon on the next post, and before I go, check out this awesome song patrick stump called Spotlight (: enjoy

*oh nostalgia i dont need you anymore
